What is inspiration if not the engine, the starting point that gives coherence to the pieces through materiality, colors, applications. A trip, the culture of a place, art, cinema, nature or one's own life experience, like a scent or a feeling. Just as the literary work of Henry James exceptionally conveys unique sensations through his narrative of textures, the act of touching a fabric is to bring it to life. And that happened to me with this capazo . I went to eat with some friends and on the dining table I see a sublime fabric, with an elegance and elegance that captivated me. A voluminous, soft chiffon fabric, embroidered with rhinestones of different colors, shapes and shine; some birds embroidered with volume and threads never seen before. We went to eat but it was all very complicated, the glasses were sure to fall. And I thought, why is a work of art a tablecloth, I'll make something that reminds me of this moment. This is how “Fell on Earth” was born.
Rectangular hand-woven natural straw Capazo . It is made up of bugs woven with thin wires, beads, beads and crystals in pantone earth. Three camel-tone fur pompoms and many colored crystals in various shapes. The handles and contour are woven with cotton thread and mini sequins. Handmade silk flowers and velvet lining, all in gold.
