I started making this capazo at a time of great uncertainty. In the midst of a pandemic and in quarantine, one very cold winter day I thought: “I must be inspired by something happy and a new beginning.” And a question came to mind: “What is so beautiful and joyful about nature that gets us out of bed?” I began to imagine many little birds surrounded by beautiful flowers, in a warm and happy climate. At that moment I knew that “The Long-awaited Spring” was the perfect name. With ostrich feathers in shades of pink (sustainably collected during the change of plumage) I interpret cherry blossoms; The little birds are the music of dreams and the colorful butterflies transformed this capazo into a rebirth.

Handmade wicker Capazo , with pink ostrich feathers (sustainably collected during the change of plumage). Handmade silk flowers petal by petal, pink mane butterflies and a charm in the shape of a wicker basket with a painted bird and small roses. Its handles are crocheted with angora wool. A metallic strip with mirror shine and pink touches surrounds the capazo .

Each capazo is delivered in a bag that must be used for storage after each use. This helps protect it from possible damage and keep it in good condition. It is important to avoid exposing the capazo to the sun when not in use. Direct sunlight can cause discoloration and deterioration of the material.

It should not be submerged in water or come into contact with rain. It is also important not to overload it, since it is a delicate piece. The designer Isabel Margarita Vial will assist you personally if your capazo needs to be checked or restored indefinitely. To do this you can write to us through our contact form.
