Marie Antoinette Capazo in Baroque Splendor is a mix of emotions, passions and complexity that envelops us in a transcendental and exuberant fashion of the 18th century. While the queen of France and Navarre shone among the opulence of exotic fabrics, sculptural hairstyles and jewelry, art moved from Baroque to Rococo, invading Versailles and Paris with excess. This capazo is a reflection of that cultural change, full of movement, dynamism and exaggeration. A scenario in which works of art moved between sounds, words, situations or concepts, in a passionate atmosphere of the most absolute tension.
Hand-woven and gold-dyed straw Capazo . The outline and handles are hand-woven in angora wool. Handmade silk flowers play with each other with velvet tassels. Hand painted face. Her hair is made with couture fabric. Marie Antoinette has a beige chiffon cape over her shoulders, outlined with flowers, pearls, a velvet shoe filled with zircons and bird feathers in different shades. A golden embroidered lace finishes this piece, beginning the display of cream-colored ostrich feathers. A dark brown fur pom pom charm with metallic gold chains and a metallic gold Eiffel tower.
Each capazo is delivered in a bag that must be used for storage after each use. This helps protect it from possible damage and keep it in good condition.
