The term capazo has a very ancient Provençal-Catalan origin, derived from the Latin capacium, which means basket, and which was formerly used to carry all kinds of things, such as going to the market and loading it with fruits, vegetables and provisions in general.
In the 1950s, a fantastic dichotomy occurred in what history is
of fashion.
On the one hand, one of the most influential French style icons of the time, such as the great Brigitte Bardot, popularized capazo in a very disruptive way: every summer she wore them withretro looksof influencelady.
