Alice in Dreamland

Since Alice fell into that rabbit hole and entered our lives in 1865 with the help of its author Lewis Carroll, it has become not only a literary symbol, but a visual icon for artists, designers and fashion publishers. Exhibitions throughout the world follow his adventures during 157 years of life. Even Tim Burton, Iris van Herpen, Vivienne Westwood and Annie Lebovitz succumbed to the wonders of Alice's Land. My creation represents that, the fertile territory for many generations of designers and the world of fashion, reinterpreting that curious and pragmatic girl and her travel companions, the rabbit and the cat, who of course cannot be missing from this capazo . Those black and white tiles that look like a chess board, the big doors always with the uncertainty of which one takes me to the dream country, the keys that flew everywhere, taking us to a dream world.
Handmade flexible straw Capazo . Made with black velvet tassels and different tulle. It consists of shiny and opaque designs to give movement to the fabrics. The blue flowers are inspired by Alice and her dress. As well as a large black velvet rosette above her honey-colored curls. His inseparable rabbit friend and hat are hand-embroidered velvet. Keys and accessories from Alice's story emerge from her gauze dress. Hanging from this capazo , under the pretty velvet tassels, are some cups, the rabbit, watches and small keys in black pompoms.
Each capazo is delivered in a bag that must be used for storage after each use. This helps protect it from possible damage and keep it in good condition. It is important to avoid exposing the capazo to the sun when not in use. Direct sunlight can cause discoloration and deterioration of the material.
It should not be submerged in water or come into contact with rain. It is also important not to overload it, since it is a delicate piece.
