In "Abundancia", we have incorporated a craft from southern Chile created with care by the talented Mapuches, who reside in the lush forests of Lake Budi. In this region, "Ñocha" is preserved, a vital plant used to make bags for the collection of essential supplies for local indigenous communities. This component forms the bottom of our capazo , and, in turn, embodies the rich Chilean identity. The Mapuches are recognized for their skill in creating round objects, baskets and animal figures that reflect their environment. Inspired by these elements, I shaped the circular design of the capazo , where various details and representations of the activities that characterize its culture hang. In addition, we have incorporated copper for its splendid color and relevance in the history of Chile. This magnificent piece has been made by artisan Nicole de Chiloé, who has managed to capture the essence of this rich cultural tradition in her work.

Nocha Capazo woven and cooked in each circle by hand, by the artisan Nicole, miniature baskets, miniature pig, ñocha handles, greenish velvet lining, at their ends they have a copper charm.

Each capazo is delivered in a bag that must be used for storage after each use. This helps protect it from possible damage and keep it in good condition. It is important to avoid exposing the capazo to the sun when not in use. Direct sunlight can cause discoloration and deterioration of the material.

It should not be submerged in water or come into contact with rain. It is also important not to overload it, since it is a delicate piece. The designer Isabel Margarita Vial will assist you personally if your capazo needs to be checked or restored indefinitely. To do this you can write to us through our contact form.
