This capazo is the fruit of the collaboration between a friend and master horsehair weaver, Doña Flor. Her skill in the art of weaving has been passed down through generations, beginning her learning at the young age of six under the guidance of her grandmother and mother. This piece is not only sublime, but also impressive, evoking the liveliness of nature thanks to the inclusion of delicate camellias. It is not simply a luxury object, but an authentic manifestation of our heritage that is presented to the world through the collective creativity of women. Two outstanding artisans participate in this project, Doña Flor and the talented Chabela. It is the latter who makes the wonderful camellias, so realistic that they seem to come to life before our eyes.

Capazo made entirely of horsehair by hand by the artisan Flor, the camellias handmade from horsehair made by the artisan Chabela, a velvet lining, on both sides fur pompoms.

Each capazo is delivered in a bag that must be used for storage after each use. This helps protect it from possible damage and keep it in good condition. It is important to avoid exposing the capazo to the sun when not in use. Direct sunlight can cause discoloration and deterioration of the material.

It should not be submerged in water or come into contact with rain. It is also important not to overload it, since it is a delicate piece. The designer Isabel Margarita Vial will assist you personally if your capazo needs to be checked or restored indefinitely. To do this you can write to us through our contact form.
