23cm diameter / 21cm high / 8cm bellows
This capazo inspired me to incorporate the horsehair rose technique, a traditional Rari fabric. My goal was to fuse the rich ancient tradition with a modern twist, focusing on horsehair weaving and braiding, and then adding the element of copper. Thus, the final design consists of three elements that intertwine harmoniously. This creation was the work of the talented artisan, my friend Flor, who knew how to capture this vision in the piece with mastery.
Black horsehair Capazo , made in the town of Rari, unique in the world. Woven with copper and made by hand, black horsehair handles, velvet lining, and fur pom poms at the ends.
Each capazo is delivered in a bag that must be used for storage after each use. This helps protect it from possible damage and keep it in good condition. It is important to avoid exposing the capazo to the sun when not in use. Direct sunlight can cause discoloration and deterioration of the material.
It should not be submerged in water or come into contact with rain. It is also important not to overload it, since it is a delicate piece. The designer Isabel Margarita Vial will assist you personally if your capazo needs to be checked or restored indefinitely. To do this you can write to us through our contact form.
